Root Causes Of Present Troubles

(Special.) CAMBRIDGE. This Day. “Come what may, the people of this country, collectively, will have to take a stand and see that no force shall be allowed to challenge the Government and get away with it,” said the Leader of the Cppositicn (Mr S. G. Holland), when he addressed a record luncheon gathering of Cambridge business people yesterday. He said that if the Dominion wished to avoid disaster a move would have to be made soon to ensure that defiance of the law would not show a profit in future. Mr Holland said the root cause of the country's troubles today was selfishness and greed and lack of discipline in certain branches of our industrial life. “There has been a serious deterioration of moral values. We want seme kind of a moral revival," said Mr Holland.
