Nearly 100 P.C. Of Whangaroa Rates

Nearly 100 per cent of the collectable rates of Whangaroa County were paid in by yesterday and there are no arrears on the books.

The county clerk (Mr O. G. Machattie) said that the total rates for the county were £4445 and £4437/4/6, or 99.82 per cent, had been paid, leaving only one account of £7/15/6 to be collected.
