British Meat Ration The Same
(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 22. The Food Minister (Mr John Strachey) announced that the meat ration in 1947 would remain at 16d, but the value of fresh meat in the weekly ration would be 1/- instead of 1/2. The remainder of the ration is to consist of 4d worth of canned meat.
