BIG BRITISH BEER CUTS
(Rec. 2 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 22. A 25 to 50 per cent cut in beer production is likely immediately, says the .Daily Telegraph. The brewing industry will save a 50 per cent fuel cut because the Government excludes it from industries with coal priorities. Eass Brewery announced a 50 per cent reduction in licensees’ quotas from January 27.
