University Press On Permanent Basis
(S’ ec.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The University Press is to become a permanent organisation with headquarters in Wellington. The University Senate has decided this. Recommendations adopted were: That an editor-secretary bo appointed. ft first on a part-time basis, and preferably a university lecturer. That a publications fund be established by an annual grant from the senate. That authors ho paid royalty on sales with provision for other arrangements if thought advisable. That colleges be asked to contribute to the maintenance cost.
