Whangarei, opposite the Settlers Hotel, spent a cheery Christmas in their rather dismal surroundings. Mrs. M. Dyanton, who conducts the boarding house where the men stay, stressed the need of reading material and clothes for the old timers, who have no relations to help them. The generosity of all who had helped to make the men’s Christmas a happy one was warmly appreciated. Make Henry Wilson’s your shopping centre for 1947. The firm is out to give the public a high quality article at the fines' possible price.
