Rotary District Governor in North
Rotary District Governor W. Blair Tennent, of Palmerston North, accompanied by Mrs Tennent, is visiting Whangarei. / He is the first District Governor of the new 52nd District recently formed in New Zealand. Mr Tennent was the speaker at today’s Rotary luncheon, and during the afternoon was taken on a short sightseeing tour of the district by members of the club. His talk was devoted to the work and aims of Rotary, and he stressed the opportunities existing for the Rotary ideal of service in local as well as international affairs.
