Caused Spy Scare
(Rec. 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, April 1. Rome newspapers state that radio sets found in various parts of Italy, giving rise to a spy scare, were bal-loon-borne instruments which the Italian meteorological service used for registering air pressures, temperatures and humidity.
