Seeking Missing Members Of RNZAF
(Special) LONDON, Api 1 1 Nearly 1000 New Zealand airmen who were reported mussing during the Avar are still not traced. However, slowly and diligently the search is being continued to find their last resting place. The work of locating their graves is being done by a Royal Air Force and Dominion Air Forces’ missing, research and inquiries service, with which 14 New Zealanders are working. They have at their disposal captured German documents which have already helped to account for over 500 New Zealanders. In addition nearly 400 inquiries affecting New Zealanders have also been made.
