(P.A.) PALMERSTON N.. This Day

After an excellent flight from Sydney, Admiral Lord Mountbatten, accompanied by Lady Mountbatten and party, arrived at Ohakea at 8 o’clock this morning. Two aircraft were use for the flight. Conditions were very good. Both planes landed within two minutes of their scheduled times of arrival After being welcomed by Government and service representatives, and the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom (Sir Patrick Duff.) the party had breakfast and left, for Wellington by car. Lord and Lady Mountbatten arrived at Wellington from Ohakea by car 20 minutes ahead of schedule. They are staying at the Hotel Waterloo.
