Another Dreyfus Case

<Rec. 1.0 p.m.) PARIS. March 29. A letter from the former Finance Minister <M. Mendes France), testifying to the patriotism of Yvon Dreyfus, stated to be one of Petiofs alleged victims, was read at the Petiot trial today. Petiot, throughout the trial, claimed Dreyfus was a member of the Gestapo who betrayed Petiot’s "Flytox" resistance group to the Germans.

The letter from M. France stated that he was indignant that Petiot should have soiled Dreyfus' memory. Madame Dreyfus, wife of the vanished Jew. admitted under cross-examina-tion that she had seen a letter from her husband to the German authorities agreeing to give them information in return for his own liberation from internment.

Madame Dreyfus said she paid £30.000 to arrange for the release of her husband through a man who at present was charged with cooperating with the enemy.
