Whangarei Rugby League To Resume
j Rugby League football is to reopen ! in Whangarei this season. Mr J. F. Johnson, a trustee of the Northland Rugby League, said th:s afternoon .that he had been in communication with the president of the j New Zealand Council (Mr A. Redwood), who would visit Whangarei on ! Wednesday, when a meeting would be held to make arrangements for the season. It was expected that at least two teams from Hikurangi and two from Whangarei would participate in a senior grade competition.
