Want Job Of Ending Nazi Criminals’ Lives
: NUREMBERG, Dec. 18. “I, Comrade Erich Richter, member of the Communist Party of Germany, would like the job of knocking off the heads of the leading Nazi criminals.” With this application Comi’ade Richter was the first volunteer for the job of Nuremberg executioner, says the Associated Press correspondent. The second volunteer was an inmate of a refugee camp.. Joseph Schmidt, who “recommends himself as executioner.” Unlike Richter he suggested that his appointment should follow an agreement on the subject of fees.
