Milk In Schools
(Special.) AUCKLAND, This Day. While the supply of free milk to children was appreciated by town schools, it was not appreciated in some country districts, stated the Morrinsville Dairy Producers' Association in it letter received at a mooting of the Auckland Education Board yesterday. As milk should not be wasted during the present food .shortage, the associat'd! a.Led the board u; investigate its distribution. especially to country schools wiii-re children, in most cases, received sufficient milk at home. The head teachers of two schools mentioned by the association reported that the majority of the children used the milk and benefited from it. The mailer was referred to the Health Department.
