German Scientists To Complete Work In U.S.
(Rec. 1.30 p.m.) LONDON. Aug. 23. German scientists will be taken to the United States to continue military experiments and research on which they were working when Germany surrendered, states headquarters cf the American forces in Europe. The United States Government will employ selected scientists and technicians, working under the direction of United States Navy, Army and Air Force experts. It emphasised that they will not have access to classified American projects. The scientists’ families will remain in Germany, to where the scientists will return after completion of their 'work. No indication has been given as to the exact number to be employed.
