Australian Visitor
Colonel E. C. Slattery, of the Salvation Army, Australia, arrived in Whangarei today, and will be the guest of Major and Mrs C. H. Morley during the week-end. The colonel, who is now retired from active service, held, appointments in New Zealand before being transferred to Australia about 30 years ago, where he rose to important administrative positions.
