ACHILLES TO BE PART OF FLEET TO ENTER TOKIO BAY

(Rcc. J. 40 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 23 The New Zealand cruiser Achilles and two Australian destroyers will be part of the 3rd Fleet which will anchor in Tokio Bay when the Allies occupy Japan, says Reuter's correspondent aboard the battleship Duke of York, The Duke of York, carrying Admiral Fraser as the official British representative at the peace ceremony, will anchor close to the American battleship Missouri on whose decks the surrender will be signed. The British force in Tokio Bay will be only part of the group which has been operating with the Americans dining last month in the attacks against Japan. The remainder of the group was detached some days ago for other duties when Japan surrendered.
