Rubber Companies Appeal Against Bureau Decision
tP.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. An appeal against the decision of the Bureau of Industry granting licences to three overseas tyre and rubber companies for manufacture in New Zealand of motor tyres, is to be made by Mr G. W. Skellerup, representing the Latex. Marathon, Empire and Para Rubber Companies. This was announced today by Mr Skellerup. who said he had no comment to make for the time being about the bureau’s decision.
