SOVIET CONTINUES LABOUR DISCIPLINE
(Rec. 11.40 a.m.). MOSCOW, Aug. 23 Soviet workers are warned in an article in “izvestia” that the measures introduced in war to enforce discipline would continue. “Izvestia” said absenteeism, lateness and leaving jobs without permission must he prevented. All men and women breaking labour discipline must be handed over for trial.
