(Rec. 11,30 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 21 The long period of unbroken rain in Germany, which has gravely damaged the harvest, is causing anxiety, says the “Daily Telegraph’’ correspondent at FieldMarshal Montgomery’s headquarters. The harvest promised to yield a good crop, but the weather will certainly reduce it well under normal, necessitating importation of further supplies to prevent widespread famine. A message from Bratislava, on the Austra-Hungarian border, says that according to Unrra officials, Hungarian brigands are attacking and pillaging food trains, and threaten a stoppage or delay in supplies for Central Europe. The brigands' arc reported to be mostly disbanded . soldiers. Unrra trains may be discontinued pending a resumption of shipping on the Danube, which, according to the Russian authorities, is now free of mines.
