MacArthur Suds Command South Of Philippines
(Rec. 11.20 a.in.) MANILA. August 21. General MacArthur has notified the British. Australian and New Zealand Prime Ministers that ho will be relinquishing command of the area south ot the Philippines, reports the Associated Press. General MacArthur paid high tribute to the Anzncs' accomplishments, also the wholehearted cc operation and support invariable received front ail agencies of the Empire.
