The Whangarei Ladies’ Golf Club championships commenced at the Mt. Dcnbv links yesterday. The gieens and fairway's are in perfect condition. The qualifying rounds were played yesterday. The best gross score in the senior division was returned by Mrs I. fi. Stewart (85). and in the junior division bv Mrs. R. J. N. Crosby (97). Those who qualified wore: Senior, Mrs. I B.
