Ohakune was covered with a fall of ash about l-Bth of an inch in depth, and it is still continuing to fall. A cloud of smoke stretches out in the direction of Wanganui. Local residents are very interested, but there is no nervousness. The mountain has continued to b,e a source of interest locally.
