Mrs, Laird 85—9—76, Mrs. Foster 94 18—76. WIIAU VALLEY LADIES Wakelin Cup semi final: Mrs. Lane beat Mrs. Wills, 2 and 1; Miss ■ Holmari beat Mrs. McLaren, 5 and 4. First round championship: Miss Holman beat Mrs. Lovegrove by default; Mrs. McMillan beat Mrs. King, 1 up; Mrs. Wills beat Mrs. McLaren, by default; Mrs. Robinson beat Mrs. Ford, 5 and 4; Mrs. Hookham beat Mb's. Frew, 3 and 2; Mrs. Lane beat Miss Griffen. 4 and 3; Miss Faithful] beat Mrs. Wakelin, 2 up; Mrs? Snow beat Mrs. North. 2 and 1. WHAU VALLEY MEN In the third round, four-ball best-ball Stableford, lhe best cards were: Taylor and D. Kemp. Joll and Ransom. 41 points; McLaren and Quin. 40 points. Threerounds have now been played. Joll and Ransom leading with 120 points, the next being Mcllrcy and Fagan, 113 points. AVHANGAREX MEN The competition match played over the weekend was a iour-bnll bogey aggregate, which was won by V/. J. Glanville and A. C. Aplin, with a score of 1 up. Next Saturday’s competition will be a four-ball best-ball Stableford, choose own partners and opponents.
