Will Nationalise Airways
(Rec. 1.10 P.m.) CANBERRA. This Daw The Federal Government has confirmed its decision to nationalise inter-State air lines. The Minister for Civil Aviation (Mr. Drakefcrd) has been authorised by the full Cabinet to appoint a managing director for a statutory authority to be established to operate the air lines. This authority will probably have a similar status to the authority which controls the Australian Broadcasting Commission.
