Closer Co-operation With Bed Army In Hungary
(Rec. 2.15 p.m.) LONDON. March 4. Closer co-operation between heavy bombers based in Italy and the Red Army in Hungary is indicated by today’s attacks, says Reuter’s correspondent at Allied headquarters in the Mediterranean. This follows Field-Marshal Alexander's recent visit to Marshal Tolbukhin.
Bombers today plastered railway networks >n Austria and Hungary, which serve the German forces on the Hungarian front. Targets included Sxcmbathely and Bruck, and Graz and Zagreb on the Vienna-Zagreb line.
