British Harvest “Tragic”
LONDON, September 29.
The Minister for Agriculture (Mr some effect on the winter food supply, Hudson), after inspecting rain-dam-aged crops in North-east England, said: “The harvest which promised so well has become tragic. Much of the grain will have to be used for fodder. The poor harvest will have but will not be serious.”
