Find “Vengeance” Weapon

(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON. Sept. 29. American 3rd Army troops ■ during their drive into Germany obtained information of the latest German vengeance weapon—a 14-ton projectile with a reputed explosive radius of two miles, says an Associated Press correspondent. According to this information the projectile is GO feet long. 51 feet in diameter and weighs 14 tons. At the take-off it is propelled by a mixture of liquid air and alcohol. It is shot into the air vertically and controlled by radio. It Is believed that the Germans have not put the new weapon in operation yet.
