All Travel Permits From Britain Held Up
a LONDON. April 25. Further drastic restrictions on travel from Britain are announced by the Home Office. For military reasons all travel from Britain to destinations overseas is being suspended except for business of urgent national importance which cannot be postponed. Persons who already have been granted exit permits will be allowed to use them to leave the country until midnight next Thursday. No exit permit will be valid after that date unless issued on or after April 19. These restrictions will be enforced until further notice. They are temporary and will be relaxed as soon as military considerations permit.
