Poroti F.U. Branch Holds Annual Meeting
There was a good attendance of members, considering the weather, at the annual meeting held at Poroti hall on 18th. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. S. E. Draffin; vice-presid-ents, Messrs. N. A. Robison and W. Blackstock; secretary, Mr. R. V. Brewer; auditor, Mr. N. A. Robison; delegate tc sub-provincial conference. Mr. S. E. Draffin; committee, Messrs. J. Cutforth, Jun., and D. Robison.
Hospital rating and transport charges were the chief subjects for discussion. The provincial secretary is to be asked to make representations for an increase oi amount of fertiliser for cropping.
