German Offensive On Yugoslav Front Sectors
(8.0.W.j RUGBY. April 24. Tho Germans have launched an offensive in several sectors in Sankjak and Montenegro, says a Yugoslav partisan communique. The defending troops had to abandon a number of localities, including two at Bijoce, north of Mojkovac. On the other hand, the Yugoslavs have scored a notable success, cutting the vital Zagreb-Belgrado railway. They also have made 70 cuts in a branch line from Brod (ICO miles south of Zagreb) to Novska. In an area of Niksic, the Germans have been forced to withdraw. In Croatia the enemy suffered a heavy defeat at Slobinsusak.
