The annual meeting of the above was held at the pavilion on March 7, opening with the singing of the "Ode to Friendship” and the reading of the aspirations. The annual report was adopted, as was the financial statement. The following officers were re-elected: Auditor. Mr. T. J. V. Dunlop; president, Mrs. McMullan; vice-president, Mrs. Wvatt; secretary, Mrs. Edwards; treasurer nr d press correspondent, Mrs. Doal. Committee, Mesdames Edwards. Doel, Wyatt, Br.vers. Povoy, Goodhue, Shepherd. and Henry. The drawing of the “Merry Makers” parcels for two local boys overseas, resulted in the names of Trevor Goodhue and Edgar Ware being drawn. Mrs. Edwards on behalf of the members, presented Mrs. McMullen witli a small gift in appreciation of her constant, services.
