Fighting In Yugoslavia

(8.0. W. 1.45 p.m.) RUGBY. Feb. 24. A Yugoslav partisan communique states that Slovenia units of the first brigade attacked 600 Germans near Novo Nes:o and drove them back. Between Kanmik and Stadne. a German garrison was annihilated. Near Rakek on the railway between Trieste and Jlubjen, a train was derailed and traffic suspended for two days. In the vicinity of Rakek, a German column was attacked and forced to ictreat towards the town.
