Advice has been received by Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Moore of Bank Street, Whangarei, that their .son, SergeantObserver “Torchy” Moore has been transferred to Germany to Left. 6, from Italy. Sergeant-Observer Moore left New Zealand three years ago and was shot down and taken prisoner by the Italians on December 13. He was wounded in the right leg, and refnained on his back in different hospital beds in Italy for five-and-a-hajf months. No news had been heard of him since the capitulation of Italy until advice of his transfer came through.
