Wilkins, for which G. and W. Jeffs (Ruawai) paid 70 guineas. The next highest price was 55 guineas paid by Mr. J. Burnside (Tangowahine) for Bewsey Park Triumph, from the stud of Mr. J. R. Dodd. Bewsey Park Forward Lad, submitted by the same vendors, was purchased by Mr. W. A. Burges (Ruawai) for 53 guineas.
