Anzac Forestry Unit Returning

(Rec. 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 29.

The arrival at an undisclosed port of more than 600 Australian, and New Zealand army forestry troops returning. home after three years’ service in the British Isles has been announced by the War Department. Anzacs will enjoy Ihree days’ vacation in New York city as guests of the eastern defence command. On Friday troops will parade up Broadway to the City Hall, escorted by a police battalion. They will be welcomed by the Mayor (Mr. La Guardia). Other entertainment includes a special baseball game,-New York Yankees v. Chicago White Sox.
