N.Z. Pacific Troops In Battle Area

WELLINGTON, This Day.
An announcement that New Zea•h nd troops in the Pacific had moved to the forward area was made by the Prime Minister (Hon. P. Fraser) last night.
He stated that bombing had constituted their first contact with the enemy and so far our forces had suffered no casualties or damage. Landing operations had been carried out without incident .and the men were in excellent health and spirits.
