Hereford Bull Sale

A keen demand for bulls was the feature of the ninth annual sale of Hereford bulls held at Kamo yesterday by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd. This year’s offering comprised 30 two-vear-old bulls bred bv Mr. E. A. Cliff. of.Waiotira, and his cattle came forward in very good sale condition. Buyers were present from all parts of Northland and from the Auckland district and there was a complete clearance. Top price for the day was 90 gns. and the whole line averaged just on 40 gns. each. Throughout the sale bidding was keen and nianv prospective buyers were unable to fill their requirements.
