Mrs. Frances Good

OBITUARY

The death has occurred in Whangarei of Mrs Frances Louise Innes Good, wife of Dr. H. A. Good, at the age of 70. The daughter of a well-known London clubman and niece of General Gordon of the Indian Army, Mrs Good was born in London, where she married Dr. Good, afterwards leaving for New Zealand, where they arrived in 1899. The first few years were spent in Taranaki, but in 1905 they came North to Whangarei where Dr. Good has continued to practice his profession. In her younger days Mrs Good was an able tennis player and ranked above the average. Latterly she was a keen bridge player and was an enthusiastic member and supporter of the Whangarei Women's Club. She is survived by her husband, one son (Mr E. Good, of Whangarei) and one daughter (Mrs H. Rout, of Auckland). There are two grandchildren.
