Want Kiwi Concert Party To Tour Northland
Tiie desire that the Kiwi Concert Party, if possible, should visit the whole of the North, was expressed at yesterday's meeting of the Northland "A” Zone Patriotic Commit tec. The matter came up for discussion when the quotas for the respective inierzones were being considered. Mr. E. G. Aiekin thought a visit would assist many out lying areas in raising their quota. Mr W. 11. White considered the party sufficiently large to be divided so that several areas could be visited in a sheer t inn*. M> - H. T. Atkinson said that if the party were allocated to the zone for a certain period the zone could reallocate the "dates to the inter-zones. The chairman said the inter-zones would require to undertake the financial liability. ITc would not undertake the reallocation.
On liio mol ion of Mr Atkinson the soc*-i-i-i arv was instructed to a- ■ i into touch with ilie Kiwi Concert Party and obtain all nartienlars relative to a visit. Tin- chairman said that Whangarei had already made application for a visit to Whangarei. extending over several days
