LONDON, March 8.
The Free .French forces in London have received a letter left by a French hostage who was held in the Paris infirmary. The letter was as follows: “The chairman has just informed me that I am going to be shot in a few moments. I have remained faithful to the ideals I have held all my life. .“For the last time I have examined my conscience. I have no feelings of remorse; I would follow again the same road. Adieu—Long live France.” The writer was exhausted by his stay in prison and was carried to the place of execution. He died singing.
