Eire Bread Rationed

(Rec. 2 p.m.) DUBLIN, February 18. Bread rationing was introduced in Eire today. A new order imposes compulsory censorship of press messages and all printed matter. Eire printers and publishers can now be prohibited from printing any specified matter or classes of matter and can be compelled to submit matter to the censor before printing. Power to seize documents is extended to articles which are not documents but where sale or distribution is likely to lead to a breach of the peace or offend friendly nations.
