Northland Plunket Clinic Holidays

[Special to "Northern Advocate”] KAIKOHE, This Day. It was announced at the monthly meeting of the Northland branch of the Plunket Society, held in Kaikohe that the clinics would be closed from December 25 to January 2. The Kaikohe clinic will be re-opened on Saturday, January 3, when Nurse Thom will be in attendance. Mrs. H. F. Guy presided over the meeting, which was held in Mrs. J. Crawley’s residence. Nurse Thom reported that 76 adults, 75 babies and five pre-school children attended at the Kaikohe clinic, while 215 adults, 177 babies and seven pre-school children attended at out-stations. In Kaikohe visits to homes numbered eight old and two new cases and at outstations there were 46 old and 22 new. The number now under supervision was 272 babies and 138 pre-school children, there being [9 new cases.
