Egyptians Incensed By Terror Raid

CAIRO, Nov. 14. Further details of the raid on the Fayoum area, 60 miles out of Cairo show that the raiders dived to a low level and machine-gunned people in the streets. The mosque was twice hit by bombs and wrecked. Four people sheltering inside were killed and five were injured. Altogether 60 people were killed and many others were injured. The Prime Minister of Egypt (Hassien Sirry Pasha), bitterly condemned the raid. Indignation is widespread described as a military objective. “The Times” correspondent in Cairo said this wanton act of terrorism will certainly have important repercussions throughout the Moslem world.
