Freyberg's Son Rises From N.Z.E.F. Ranks
[Special to ‘'Northern Advocate"! WELLINGTON. This Day. Private Paul Richard Freyberg, who is on active service with the N.Z.E.F. overseas, has been promoted to the rank of second lieutenant according to a gazette notice. Second Lieutenant Freyberg is the only son of Major-General C. B. Freyberg, General Officer commanding the New Zealand Division.
