GERMAN LIE RE SHIP ORANJE
(Rec. 2 p.m.) BATAVIA, Sept. 15. German reports allege that the motor ship Oranje has been reconstructed in Sydney as a troop transport. Official circles in Batavia point out that the Oranje is serving as a hospital ship for wounded Anzacs, and it is believed the report is possibly spread in order to furnish a pretext to torpedo the ship.
