Calwell, Auckland. promoted to Inspector to take charge of the Greymouth district: Inspector D. Scott, Auckland, transferred to New Plymouth in charge of the Taranaki district; Senior-Sergeant H. J. Joyce, Auckland, promoted to sub-inspector to replace Mr Calwell at Auckland: Inspector D. J. O'Neill. Dunedin, transferred to Auckland to replace Mr Scott; Sergeant R. E. McGettigan, Auckland, transferred to Whangarei; Sergeant P. Geraghty, Huntly. transferred to Parnell; Sergeant W. J. B. Grainger transferred from Whangarei to Huntly.
