Whangarei Agricultural Officer Farewelled

In view of his severing his connection with the Agriculture Department to take uo a position with the Maungatapere Dairy Company, the Government testing officer (Mr J. R. Milne) was farewelled by the department’s staff in Whangarei. On behalf of the staff, Mr M. H. Wallace, in making a presentation to Mr Milne referred to his service with the department and friendly relations with all staff members. Other officers spoke in appreciative terms of Mr Milne, both in his official and private life and wished him, Mrs Milne and their small daughter the best of luck in the future.
