Kamo Stock Sale Successful

Walter Wakelin, Limited, report a most successful sale at Kamo yesterday, when large entries of cattle and pigs were submitted to a big attendance of buyers. Competition for dairy stock was particularly keen, best dairy heifers selling to £l3 and cows to £l6. Store cattle sold well, as did a large entry of pigs. The sale of pigs was easily the best for some time, prices being well in advance of recent sales. Weaner pigs made as high as £l/13/3. Daily Cattle. —Best Jersey heifers, close to profit, sold from £8 to £l3; medium dairy heifers, £B/5/- to £7/15/-; smali and backward heifers, £4 to £5/15/-; Shorthorn dairy heifers, £5 to £7/15/-; best Jersey cows, £6/15/- to £10; medium quality cows, £5 to £6/10/-; cows and heifers, in milk, £4/15/- to £7/15/-; inferior and backward cows and heifers, £2/10/- to £4.
