Puttick Arrives At Auckland Tomorrow

[Special to "Northern Advocate”] AUCKLAND, This Day. The newly-appointed Chief of the General Staff (Major-General E. Puttick, D. 5.0.) is expected to arrive in Auckland tomorrow. Arrangements have been made for an official welcome and it will take place in the Town Hall concert chamber at 4.30 p.m. tomorrow. The welcome will be tendered by the Mayor (Mr. Allum) and members of the City Council, primarily for the purpose of enabling the military, naval and air force representatives to meet General Puttick. but a limited number of other representative people will bo invited. These will include members of both Houses of Parliament, representatives of the various churches, judges of the Supreme Court, and representatives of the principal local bodies.
